Hi, you can try one of the natural treatments available on the Internet (just google “natural treatment of eczema”) – some of them do work. For my eczema I use herbal cream by Champori quite successfully. It takes just a couple of weeks to clear the spots and then they stay clear for months on end.
Try it: Champori comes with money back guarantee so if it doesn’t work – it’s free.
      Fumi

I just graduated as a Naturopathic Doctor and to be honest a lot of children develop eczema….the best thing to do I believe would be to take your son to a REGISTERED Naturopathic Doctor because eczema is an internal condition manifested externally….what i mean by that i that a lot of times it can develop as a result of food allergies (such as to dairy or wheat). Things like fish oil (omega 3′s) and other supplements can be very effective! A lot of doctors may prescribe corticosteroids however this is a “bandaid” solutions and is only treating a symptom not getting to the root cause of the problem (corticosteroids actually don’t even work most of the time and can cause a great deal of other problems). I would definitely recommend taking your son to see a Naturopathic Doctor in your area in order to assess the root cause of his eczema!!!

What is the best medicine to get rid of eczema on my palm?
Hi, my name is Anna! I’m from Russia. I was working in summer camp in Pennsylvania that summer. I was working in the kitchen and I got the strange bubbles on my palm. When I came back to Russia and went to the hospital, the doctor gave me a creme which didn’t help me, then I tried one more medicine and it didn’t help me again.
My camp director will come to Moscow in March, so I will ask her to buy something for me in America, that’s why I’d like to ask your advice what’s better to buy and what is more effective.
I have eczema for 5 months and the reason of it is American soap, which I used in the kitchen for cleaning dishes.
    Thank you
    Anna

in response to the answer above…The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) today “January 19, 2006″ announced the approval of updated labeling for two topical eczema drugs, Elidel Cream (pimecrolimus) and Protopic Ointment (tacrolimus). The labeling will be updated with a boxed warning about a possible risk of cancer and a Medication Guide (FDA-approved patient labeling) will be distributed to help ensure that patients using these prescription medicines are aware of this concern. The new labeling also clarifies that these drugs are recommended for use as second-line treatments. This means that other prescription topical medicines should be tried first. Use of these drugs in children under 2 years of age is not recommended.
